Video Pricing & Billing

Video generation is billed per second, with rates that vary by resolution. The key formula:

Total billed seconds = output video duration + reference video duration (if applicable)

For example, generating a 5-second 1080P video with a 10-second reference video:

  • Output: 5 seconds
  • Reference: 10 seconds
  • Total billed: 15 seconds × $0.30/s = $4.50
ResolutionPrice per second
480P$0.075/s
720P$0.15/s
1080P$0.30/s

When you submit a reference video (for reference-to-video models), its duration is added to the billed total.

Example:

  • You submit a 8-second reference video and request a 5-second output
  • Total billed: 8 + 5 = 13 seconds
  • At 720P: 13 × $0.15 = $1.95

Reference videos count toward duration limits

The total (reference + output) cannot exceed 30 seconds for Wan 3.0 models. Reference videos are capped at 15 seconds total across all clips.

Reference images and audio are not billed by duration — they’re included in the per-second output pricing.

  2. Each video generation shows as a separate entry with:
    • Model used
    • Duration billed
    • Amount charged
    • Timestamp

Some models support seconds: -1 for automatic duration selection. In this case:

  • The model determines the output length
  • You’re billed for the actual output duration (not a fixed amount)
  • The pre-authorization uses the model’s maximum duration; the difference is refunded
